Directions to Prevention First  


Our facility is located at 1405 Highway 35 North, Ocean, New Jersey.

The Training Institute and Prevention Education Resource Center are on the 1st floor; our offices are on the 2nd.

In the event of inclement weather, Prevention First offices are closed in accordance with the Ocean Township School District. When the District delays openings, Prevention First offices open at 10 am and any classes scheduled to begin in the Training Institute at 9am begin at 10. District closings and delays are announced online at www.ocean.k12.nj.us/ocean as well as on various radio and television stations.

 
FROM GARDEN STATE PARKWAY


1.  Take Exit 105 onto Route 36 East.
2.  Continue approximately 2 miles (see Macy’s/Monmouth Mall on right).
3.  Bear right onto Route 35 South.
4.  At 5th light (Allaire Avenue), take jug handle and cross over to Highway 35 North.

Prevention First is just past Carpet Depot, at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Highway 35 North.
FROM SOUTH JERSEY/PHILADELPHIA


1. Take bridge to NJ Extension East to NJ Turnpike North.
2. Take Turnpike Exit 7A onto Interstate 195 East, turning onto Route 138 East at Allenwood Road.
3. Continue East and exit onto Route 18 North.
4. Proceed on Route 18 North and take Exit 11A (Deal Road East), bearing right onto Deal Road.
5. Continue East and turn right onto Highway 35 South.
6. Take jug handle at second light (Allaire Avenue) and cross over to Highway 35 North.

Prevention First is just past Carpet Depot, at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Highway 35 North.
FROM TRENTON AREA


Take I195 East, turning onto Route 138 East at Allenwood Road. (Go to #3 above.)
FROM ROUTE 18 SOUTHBOUND 


Take Exit 12A (Oakhurst) onto West Park Avenue. (Go to #5 above.)
FROM ROUTE 18 NORTHBOUND


Take Exit 11A, bearing right onto Deal Road. (Go to #5 above.)
